Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey

A “Syllabus Resource” allows you to post a copy of the course syllabus for students to view or download. Course Hub saves your students time by putting all of your course resources in one place.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log into Course Hub with your Middlebury username and pasword:

2. On the left, under “My Semester Dashboard” click on the academic term you plan to add resources to (e.g. Spring 2014 - MIIS).

3. Next to the course you want to add a syllabus to, click the grey “Manage Resources” button. This will take you to a “Resource” page for the course.

4. On the right you will see a grey course information menu that includes:

    • Course Name
    • Updates
    • Course Listing
    • Syllabus
    • Resources
    • Roster

5. To add a Syllabus, click on the “Syllabus” link in the course menu. This will take you to a Syllabus resource page with three options for how to add a course syllabus:

+ Write/Paste Syllabus Text
+ Upload Syllabus File
+ Link to Syllabus

Note: The most student-friendly way to add a syllabus to the course listing is to “+ Upload a Syllabus File” as a Word document (.doc/.docx) or, even better, as a PDF.

6. To do this, click on the “+ Upload a Syllabus File” button at the top of the page, then click the “Choose Files” button to browse your computer for the syllabus file.

7. After selecting the file for upload, click “Save” at the bottom of the page to complete the process.
