“CAREER DESIGN STRATEGIES: CAREER FAIR 2014”

This offering of CDS will focus on preparing you for your upcoming job and internship searches, as well as for the upcoming Career Fair 2014. Whether you’re just starting along your career trajectory or a mid-career professional, focusing on your “career design” is an essential component of your graduate school experience.

Our Career Design Strategies course synthesizes your academic and professional goals, preparing you for future internship and job opportunities. Together we will identify personal strengths, build a professional image, and master effective job search strategies.

In a one-day intensive workshop, we will work with you to explore, expand, and clarify your professional vision. You will hear tips and insight on the Career Fair from both employers and students. The course includes: professional branding, resume and cover letter writing, and both networking and interviewing at the career fair.

If you have not yet taken Career Design Strategies, this weekend offering is created especially for you! Alumni may also participate. No tuition is charged for this non-credit course.
